Sink

k.  Sink: damaged/hardware  leaks rinse hose out
Stainless steel sinks will actually stain.  Porcelain cast iron sinks will chip and wear through the finish.  Sink hardware can loosen, spin free or leak at “O” rings and seals.  Rinse hoses sometimes clog, won’t shut off, or aren’t even connected.

What to:  How to:
Sinks tend to be expensive to replace.  Keep them clean by scrubbing less intensely but more frequently.  Touch up porcelain chips with similar color epoxy paints.  Stainless steel sinks can be polished with several metal polishes.  Connect rinse hoses and make sure they are not blocked with mineral deposits.  Soak or clean them with a 50% vinegar and water solution.
